General notes

General notes · read before construction

Carlo is a full-stack engineer and systems architect based in the Philippines. He shipped an enterprise platform spanning 35 modules with deep SAP ERP integration, an AI-driven personal finance app, and a three-app NestJS monorepo — all designed and built from the ground up.

His strength is system design, workflow automation, and shipping working software under real-world constraints: fixed deadlines, live rooms, legacy ERPs. Before architecture, he spent three years in support at Keywords Studios Manila — the closest seat to real users a developer can have. He builds software those users never have to think about.

The work

Enterprise Management System

INTERNAL PLATFORM · CONFIDENTIAL CLIENT

An internal enterprise platform for a Philippine company, designed and built from zero. Thirty-five functional modules are kept coherent by a single multi-stage workflow engine: approval delegation, stage-gated edit permissions, rejection history, bulk operations across fifteen-plus form types. SAP Business One integration carries a request all the way to ERP posting — payment drafts and purchase orders created automatically. Sentry tracing, branded transactional email, generated PDF certificates: production, not prototype.

Live Event Management Platform

SHIPPED TO A LIVE ROOM

Built for a real live event with a fixed, immovable deadline. Real-time attendance tracking, QR-based pledges, and a category-aware raffle engine with winner exclusion and grand-raffle logic — twenty-three API endpoints holding up while the room was full and there was no retry button.

Multi-Tenant HRIS

SAAS · SCHEMA-PER-TENANT

A multi-tenant HRIS built as SaaS from the start. Billing — organizations, invoices, subscriptions, audit logs — lives in its own schema, fully isolated from tenant data: employees, departments, positions, salary history. The schema-per-tenant trade-offs made deliberately, with audit logging across the boundary.

Payments-Integrity Tooling for PH Informal SMEs

IN VALIDATION

Currently validating a payments product for Philippine informal SMEs. Drawn in full once there is a pilot to show — unshipped work does not get ink.
